Accessibility

239 Exteriors wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, or reduced motion settings.

What this site does

Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, real text instead of text baked into images, labeled form fields, visible keyboard focus, and colors checked for contrast. Animation respects your reduced motion preference: turn it on in your device settings and the site settles into its finished state with nothing moving.

Known limits

The home at the top of the homepage is cleaned surface by surface with three ordinary buttons (Roof, Pavers, Windows) and a fourth that does all three; each press is announced, and both states of the picture are described in text. The before and after comparisons on the service pages can be moved with a pointer, or with the arrow keys once the comparison has keyboard focus (the focus ring is drawn around the whole image), and both images are described in text. The service-area map is drawn by a third-party map library; the text beside it says the same thing the map shows. The menu on small screens opens as a dialog that keeps focus inside it and closes with the Escape key. Every "Free estimate" button opens the estimate form the same way: focus stays inside it, the close button stays on screen while the form scrolls, and it closes with the Escape key, the close button or a tap outside. If the popup does not work for you, the same form is on the contact page and the phone number is on every page.
