What we do

The three surfaces we clean

Roofs, pavers and windows. This page is the short version of what each service covers, in the company's own words, with the longer answer one link away and the line where an exterior cleaner's job stops.

At a glance

Three surfaces, one company.

239 Exteriors is an exterior cleaning company serving Naples, Marco Island, Estero and Bonita Springs, Florida, and it cleans three surfaces: roofs, pavers and windows. Roof cleaning is a soft wash, described by the company as safe soft-wash cleaning that removes algae, mold and stains without damaging your roof. Paver cleaning is a deep clean of driveways, patios, walkways and outdoor living spaces, and protective sealing is a separate second step that can follow it. Window cleaning is exterior window cleaning, on homes and businesses, for a clearer view and a brighter property exterior. One number covers all three, 239-500-WASH, and the estimate is free.

Surface one

Roofs

Roof cleaning here is a soft wash. 239 Exteriors puts it in two short lines: “Safe soft-wash cleaning. Removes algae, mold & stains without damaging your roof.” Both lines are the company's claim for the method, and this page prints them as the company writes them.

239 Exteriors puts the other half of the claim this way: professional roof cleaning “removes organic buildup while helping protect the look of your home”. Look is the operative word: a cleaning changes what a roof looks like from the street, and it is not asked to do more.

Why the method is low pressure and a cleaning solution rather than force is a longer subject, and how soft washing works takes it in order. Tile, shingle and metal, the black streaks themselves and the Florida rules that touch the job are on the roof cleaning page. The company's own line for the service is “Roof cleaning. Done right.”

Surface two

Pavers

Paver work comes in two parts and 239 Exteriors names both. The first is “Deep cleaning”, described as: “Removes dirt, grime, algae, mold, and tough stains to bring your pavers back to life.”

The second is “Protective sealing”, described as “a premium sealant to protect against stains, UV damage, and weed growth between joints”. It is a second step and not part of the deep clean.

The surfaces are the ones people see. The site names driveways, patios, walkways and outdoor living spaces, and calls them “high-visibility hardscape areas”. The company's line for the result is “Clean, sealed pavers boost curb appeal and help protect your investment”, and its slogan for the work is “Restore. Protect. Impress.”

Sealing does not follow the clean automatically. What has to be true before a sealer goes on, and the documents that set that condition, are on how paver sealing works. The service, the materials and the whitening question sit on the paver cleaning and sealing page.

Surface three

Windows

Window cleaning here is exterior window cleaning. The company's wording: “Exterior window cleaning removes dirt and buildup for a clearer view and brighter property exterior.” Outside glass, and that is the scope.

It is also the one service the site describes for two kinds of building: “Clean windows help your home or business present a more polished appearance.” The result claimed is modest and visual: a clearer view out, and a building that looks brighter from the street.

What an exterior cleaner has to establish about a pane before anything touches it, and the published procedure behind that, are set out on how exterior glass gets cleaned. Impact glass, coated glass and what a coastal address does to a pane are on the exterior window cleaning page.

One call

One estimate can cover all three

The estimate form is where three services stop being three phone calls. It asks which service is needed and offers four answers: roof cleaning, paver cleaning, window cleaning, or “More than one service”. That fourth option is why nobody has to make the same call three times, and the company's wording holds either way: “Call today for your FREE estimate.”

The work is in Naples, Marco Island, Estero and Bonita Springs, Florida. Those four names are a service area rather than a fence, so a property close to one of them and not on the list is worth a phone call to 239-500-WASH. The service area page says what each place is like and where the facts about it come from.

The boundary

What an exterior cleaner is not

A cleaning company cleans. It does not inspect, it does not repair, it does not coat a roof, and it does not tell you the condition of the surface it has just washed. A clean roof and a sound roof are two different findings, and the same holds for a driveway and for a pane of glass.

Florida draws the same line in statute. A coating represented “to protect, repair, waterproof, stop leaks, or extend the life of the roof” is roofing contractor work under Florida Statutes 489.105(3)(e).

The routings are short. An insurer's letter about a roof belongs with the insurer that wrote it, and with an inspector if it comes to that. A rule about how a property is allowed to look sits in the association's own recorded documents. What Florida statute says about both, and the county and district water rules that touch the job, are set out on the Florida rules that touch a roof cleaning. Glass that was improperly stored or left unprotected during construction can end up beyond what routine cleaning clears, and the glass standard treats that as non-routine cleaning and restoration; what the Gulf coast does to a window quotes the standard that draws that line. What a cleaner can honestly give you is the mechanism and the name of the trade whose job the rest is.

FAQ

Questions.

More questions are answered one per page in the answers.

What are the three surfaces 239 Exteriors cleans?

Roofs, pavers and windows. Roof cleaning is a soft wash, described by the company as safe soft-wash cleaning that removes algae, mold and stains without damaging your roof. Paver cleaning is a deep clean that lifts dirt, grime, algae, mold and tough stains, with sealing available after it. Window cleaning is exterior window cleaning, on homes and businesses.

Can more than one surface be quoted at once?

Yes. The estimate form lists roof cleaning, paver cleaning, window cleaning and More than one service, so the roof, the pavers and the windows can be quoted together. Call 239-500-WASH or send the form, and 239 Exteriors follows up with a free estimate.

Do the three surfaces get cleaned the same way?

No. A roof is soft washed, and the page on how soft washing works sets that out. Pavers are deep cleaned and can then be sealed, which the page on how paver sealing works covers. Windows are cleaned on the outside only, and the page on how exterior glass gets cleaned sets out what has to be known about a pane first.

Does a cleaning tell you anything about the condition of a roof, a driveway or a window?

No. A cleaner is not an inspector, and a cleaning tells you nothing about the condition of the surface underneath it. Florida Statutes 489.105(3)(e) puts coating work represented “to protect, repair, waterproof, stop leaks, or extend the life of the roof” with a roofing contractor.

Are all three services available everywhere 239 Exteriors works?

239 Exteriors names three services and one service area: roof cleaning, paver cleaning and sealing, and exterior window cleaning, in Naples, Marco Island, Estero and Bonita Springs, Florida. A property near one of those places and not on the list is worth a call to 239-500-WASH to ask, and the estimate is free either way.
